Dairy-free Chocolate Candies
Everyone in this house loves a good piece of chocolate, but I don’t always feel great about giving my kids store-bought chocolate. Thankfully, these candies can be thrown together with just a few ingredients in a matter of minutes. They can set in the freezer during nap time and be ready to eat by the time my kids wake up. One thing to be mindful of is these taste more like dark chocolate, which my family is fine with. If you want a candy that tastes a bit sweeter, I recommend increasing your honey or maple syrup slightly or even adding some unrefined coconut sugar.
INGREDIENTS:
1/3 melted coconut oil
1/3 cup cacao
1/4 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
HOW-TO:
Mix all ingredients together and transfer evenly into your silicone molds of your choice.
Freeze for about 2 hours. After that you can keep them in the freezer or move them to the fridge.
