Green Beauty Smoothie

Starting the mornings with a smoothie has been a ritual of mine for well over a year now. It’s a delicious and refreshing way to make sure I’m hydrating and getting in a solid serving of fruit and probiotics before my day begins. One of my favorite things about a daily smoothie is that it never gets boring - I can constantly change it up based on what I’m craving or what my body needs.

This beauty smoothie is one of my favorites for many reasons. It helps with de-bloating by promoting healthy digestion. It also helps with improving skin’s appearance and texture thanks to the high levels of Vitamin C and collagen peptides.

Beauty on the surface is directly related to your internal health. You see, your skin is the last organ to receive the nutrients that you put into your body, so when you look in the mirror and see glowing, clear skin you know that everything else is thriving as well!

why it’s good for you

Mango - Mango is rich in Vitamin C, which you can think of as the “beauty vitamin”. Vitamin C helps to heal and repair and it promotes healthy, glowing skin.

Dairy-free, unsweetened yogurt - The probiotics in yogurt help to improve digestion. This can not only help you to look and feel less bloated, but good gut health can also help to promote clear skin.

Spinach - Spinach is also rich in Vitamin C, as well as iron and fiber. Getting your daily serving of spinach will promote beauty, digestion, improved energy, and overall great health.

  • This recipe is highly customizable - I recommend playing around with different ingredients daily to give yourself variety!

  • To save time in the morning, you can easily prepare this overnight, seal it in an air-tight jar, and enjoy the next day - just avoid adding any chia seeds until the next morning.
